30-Day Program
Starts whenever you doThe 30-Day Digital Declutter
Step back from optional technologies for one month. Discover what fills the space. Reintroduce only what earns its place.
“This isn’t punishment. It’s data-gathering.”
How it works
Three moves. One month.
Define your optional tech
List every digital technology you use for non-work purposes: social media, streaming, news apps, games, podcasts. These are your candidates. Work-required tools stay. Everything else pauses. The act of listing it is itself clarifying.
Take a 30-day break
For one month, remove every item on that list. Don't moderate. Remove. The goal isn't to use your phone less; it's to create enough distance to see your habits clearly. Use what fills the space naturally. That's data.
Reintroduce intentionally
For each technology you consider bringing back, ask: what specific value does this serve, and is this the best way to serve it? Only what passes that test returns, on your terms, in a form you choose, not the defaults.
What to expect
Week by week
Every declutter is different. This is the most common pattern.

Do this with others
The Discord has a dedicated channel for people running the declutter. It's a good place to share what you're noticing, ask questions, and find others in the same week as you.
No account required. No tracking. No email capture. This page exists to explain the methodology. What you do with it is entirely up to you.
